" There he sat, And (think of it) the man was fat! Our bear rejoiced like anything To read about this famous King, Nicknamed the "Handsome." Not a doubt The man was definitely stout. I used to say "extercise" (a word of my own invention ) rather than "exercise", until I grew out if it, which I think endeared my rendition of the poem to my mother

What to look for Approaching the village of Hartfield, note the 700-year-old church and its ancient lychgate which includes a good example of pargeting or ornamental plasterwork. Once part of the much larger Wealden Forest, the area is now a very attractive mix of high, open heathland and oak and birch woodland scattered across the well-wooded sandstone hills of the High Weald

I am greatly enjoying the Brothers Grimm!"Those are some great stories indeed. As for real German literature may I warm you for the following books which I liked very much. Also, are the chapters too short? Still, most of the time Winnie-the-Pooh and even Christopher Robin and friends are always up for adventure, with very little foresight, follow through, or hindsight, and therein lies the pleasure of it

I imagine it takes me back to my childhood days but Cribbins' voice is so soothing and the mental images so wonderful and amusing that I invariably fall back to sleep before the end of Chapter 3 :-)I don't think I have ever got to the end of the CD and I hope I never do...If you are buying it for your kids I'm sure it will have a similar effect at bedtime, but don't be afraid to have a listen yourself if anxieties are keeping you awake at night. Milne's stories about these woodland dwelling toys are a delight! No matter your age, there is enjoyment for everyone in these witty, intelligent and touching tales
