Do you know the proper way to convert footage shot in Cinestyle log to linear in Nuke (or any other compositing app)? It would appear Technicolor has not released the technical specs regarding their log curve or how to get it back to linear space

You can grade with the common Photoshop raw controls and drag the clips right in, before rendering them out in a 2.5K lossless format for editing on a timeline in Premiere. But unlike the ProRes option in-camera you are getting the full 2.5k resolution and believe me 2400 x 1350 makes a huge difference over 1080p! In Premiere Now simply drag the lossless clips to Premiere where you can smoothly snip and colour correct away just like with DSLR footage

I closed CS6 and reopened it and it seems to be okay now, but I never had any issues like those before, so I think ACR must have been effed up in this release.0 upvotesBy Kelvin L (Apr 9, 2014)Camera Raw 8.4 is also broken on my copy of Bridge CS6. In the side-by-side and split-view modes, the Before settings are always shown on the left or top, and the After settings are always shown on the right or bottom

Where can I download the working ACR with compatibility for Nikon D750 please? Thank you, Marko Reply Rikk Flohr says: January 11, 2015 at 8:08 am If you are using Lightroom 5.7.x or higher it will process D750 Raw files just fine. Can you confirm that you have the Lightroom 5.7 update installed? Have you used Nikon Transfer? Older versions of Nikon Transfer are known to damage the raw files making them incompatible with other application

SHAME ON YOU ADOBE!2 upvotesBy Mark Banas (8 months ago)Sorry to say, Robert, but Adobe, like every other company of a certain size, has to justify the cost to support (and continue supporting) an extremely niche product like Foveon-sensored cameras. I even verified that for these earlier Foveons I could produce the same quality as Sigmas raw converter, and subsequently only used ACR for these files

Transferring Files Want to transfer a file from, say, the SD card in the camera to your personal computer? It is as easy as unplugging the card from the camera and plugging it into the SD card reader on your PC. They have fixed the gripes I had with the Mk2 and I am loving it!! Roll on bigger chips from anyone - lets just hope the get the rest of the camera as usable as this one

But if you understand the concept of Photoshop's "blend modes", you are on your way to understanding some of the options the EOS-1D X's stunning new multi-exposure feature offers the creative photographer. When two or more elements are combined, users have a tremendous range of ways to make the two separate elements interact, from a simple overlay to extremely creative options that can show only highlight areas, suppress color, and more

I use my 5D, purchased in 2013, for all of my photography with exception of when shooting at air shows or birding, in which case I fall back on my 7D and attach a 400mm f5.6 lens. Additional technological advancements include an Intelligent Viewfinder, Canon's advanced iFCL metering system, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Multiple Exposure mode-all of which help make the EOS 5D Mark III the perfect multimedia tool

A High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode is also incorporated and allows for the creation of HDR images in-camera, reducing the time needed to manually overlay images in post-production. The redesigned grip offers easy holding when shooting or carrying the camera, while the rubber skin coating has been engineered for all day comfort in your hand and also coats the camera's card slot cover
