Click the "Download for iPhone" link at the bottom of the page, then click "Download Ringtone." Choose where you want to save the ringtone and click "OK." The ringtone will be downloaded to your computer. Enter the name of the artist or song you want to search for in the text box underneath the "Start your search!" heading, on the right side of the home page
If you have an out of the box (purchased brand new, not used from someone else) iPhone 3G then you should create a custom 4.0 ipsw with PwnageTool and restore from DFU mode. Or if you have an iPhone 3G S, you should read the section on the iPhone Dev Team's blog pertaining to that phone which states: PwnageTool only works on previously jailbroken 3G S iPhones with the old bootrom

but you have to download music conveyer than u can drag mp4 file in it than it directly transfer it to mar file than it will show automatically in iTunes tones section . I fill in the Options box with the start and stop time but whatever time I put in for Stop, it automatically discards it and just puts in the length of the song
