Mesmer sucks Jul 30, 2012 at 1:41 am Reply Simple GW1 is not GW2, no matter how much you beg, also your ethereal AoE is by far the best cross profession combo in the game (chaos armor anyone?). The world is more persistent! The characters are more customizable! PvP is more grandiose! There are still lots of goddamn minipets! It would seem everything was improved

These depend on range, level and body position of the target, obstructions, interactions with other skills and the actions of the target, among other things. Friendly skills are marked in white, combo fields that do not need to be triggered have a higher contour, and skills which will harm the player are marked in red

The positive part of the build is that it gives a nice mix of Vitality and Power, which makes you have both good amounts of sustenance and a generous amount of damage. Apart from writing for us, Haider is also a competitive FPS player and also enjoys exotic RPG games like Diablo and Xenogears (his favorite game of all time) on the side

Creativity and variety are discarded, everyone is forced into standardized peg shapes so they can fit into an ever-decreasing number of holes, all for the sake of making sure everyone is equally special. So one actually had to put points into skirmishing Piercing arrows, yeah quite nice if you use longbows, but actually would be more fun to be able to be used with shortbows as well

After you have used your burst, swap to your melee weapon and do not swap back (you do not want to be stuck with longbow autoattack while your waepon swap is on cooldown). Bear in mind that it is sometimes better to let your pet die and not revive it for the rest of the fight, this holds especially true for bosses that steal health from players to heal themselves

This will bring up a window that tells you a little bit about that particular pet, and also gives you the option to equip your new pet at that point as shown above. Eir Stegalkin, shown above, is a norn ranger that characters from that race will interact with throughout their personal story in Guild Wars 2 Bear in mind that these are not hard rules to follow, but rather a more general thing to be conscious of while getting a feel for which combat style - melee vs

How to 'gear up' in GW2

For farming karma, my method is to do the Daily achievement every day, which nets you a Jug of Liquid Karma that gives between 4.5k and 7.8k karma depending on boosters. Looks like it's crafting or running dungeons forever to get the set I want I was in the order of whisperers and that gives stats I'm not really needing right now, thanks Kerome Last edited by sonof; 2013-01-09 at 04:29 PM

The standard auto-attack tosses an axe forward that ricochets between nearby enemies, and its 'Splitblade' skill tosses a fan of axes forward, inflicting bleeding, making the axe useful against groups of foes. In part, because you can send in the Ranger's pet to occupy an enemy's attention, so your survival isn't as directly tied to your skill use, making it a little easier to recover from mistakes

To view a detailed page for each pet species, including its in-game overview, skills, and locations for where it can be charmed, click on its name below. The Jellyfish has a number of unique species that you can charm on your ranger, while there is currently only one species each for the Armor Fish and Shark

At the bottom middle part of the zone, there is some small island at Sawtooth Bay, just go North from the small islands you would see a cave, Juvenile Reef Drake can be found there. (blue moa, boar, pig, lashtail devourer, jungle spider, fern hound, krytan drakehound, and i may have missed one) And a shortcut to this place just SE of the bridge on SE side of Fort Trinity

Swapping of pets can also be used to manage aggro; swapping pets removes the previously aggroed pet from play, allowing either another tanking pet to take its place or switching it for a more damage-oriented pet while allowing the ranger to hold enemies' attention. Pet swapping can also be used to escape combat more easily; while a pet has the aggro of enemies, retreating from combat and swapping pets will recall the previously attacking pet while both the ranger and the freshly swapped pet can get out of combat
