Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows What's Up With the Ending?
The last words in your book are "all is well." What happened? Here's what Rowling had to say in a 2007 interview:For a long time the last line was something like: "Only those who he loved could see the lightning scar." And that was in reference to the fact that as they were on the platform, people were milling around. Well, then, what's a guy to do after he accomplishes his destiny by saving the world as we know it at age seventeen? Here's where the second ending jumps in
the plot had a slow pace and the climax was far into the film.i found this harry potter to be more dark than the others because of the women who turned into a snake and all the blood in the room.this film was mostly story so was not as entertaining as other harry potters. One scene where Harry and Hermoine suddenly decide to dance together to the tune of Nick Cave's The Children playing on the radio is lyrical in its depiction of their desperate attempt to find levity in a world that affords none

Throughout, Harry and his friends appropriately sound a bit older than they did in the early volumes, and it's hard to know whether it's imagined or not, but there's a hint of wistfulness in Dale's voice, perhaps because both narrator and listener know it's the last time they'll be together for a new Potter adventure

Still doesn't sound that awesome? Well...there's also the fact that it's the only spell that he casts with the Elder Wand, and he does it to make it clear that he has no intention of claiming the wand's power for himself. Covers Always Lie The cover to the American edition made it seem like Harry and Voldemort were in an outdoor coliseum during their final confrontation when it turns out to be the Great Hall at Hogwarts

At Shell Cottage, magical house elf Dobby's body had been buried on the beach after being hit by Bellatrix Lestrange's knife aimed at Harry (in the previous installment of the film). Suddenly, Hermione and Ron appeared - she cast an Expelliarmus spell at them, as Goyle retaliated with a killing Avada Kedavra, which she countered with a Stupefy spell

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I Reviews - Metacritic
I guess they spent all of the budget on SPFX, as they clearly could not afford an editor! I could have chopped the film down to 20 minutes, if not less. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them
She's also said, apparently, that the books are about death, though, having read the last book, I understand now that she doesn't mean they're about death, but about death. (Dudley, however, has two bedrooms, one to sleep in and one for all his toys and games.) Then Harry starts receiving mysterious letters and his life is changed forever

Both the dream sequence in Kings Cross Station and the all-too brief sequence with the Resurrection Stone give the film the space it needs to breathe, reminding us of the emotional baggage which Harry carries and why he is fighting in the first place. Even moreso than in the previous instalment, the characters find themselves in an endgame, where they are fighting against a seemingly inevitable outcome

Luckily, Rowling has prepped loyal readers for the end of her series by doling out increasingly dark and dangerous tales of magic and mystery, shot through with lessons about honor and contempt, love and loss, and right and wrong. Fear not, you will find no spoilers in our review--to tell the plot would ruin the journey, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is an odyssey the likes of which Rowling's fans have not yet seen, and are not likely to forget
But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again
The Deathly Hallows continually feeds us a feeling of desolation as Harry, Ron and Hermoine fail to discover a way to destroy the horcruxes; they seem to be making no progress towards defeating the Dark Lord, but as an effect the movie seems to be making no progress towards an ending. With dark undertones running through the cinematography, Part 1 of the Harry Potter finale is the film that deals more with the emotional stagnation of the characters and spends less time with action scenes and major plot points
