It was overcast when we went so not a lot of time was spent sunbathing, but the beach was clean and not too busy even with a volleyball tournament being played on the beach

Also parking was tight but the close proximity to the boardwalk meant no driving! On the main drag (Riverside) but slept fine (maybe because the bed was so darn comfortable) Air conditioning worked well.
