go to messages, select the options button on the bottom left and then select Spam Messages, turn off spam messages...now I get all my iphone people texts. In the end the only way to actually solve this problem is to contact Apple support! spent 30 minutes going through all of above (again!) for me to then ask them to remove me completely from the apple systems! suddenly she sent me a code to my mobile number on my samsung, then removed my tel number from their system

I have only checked one Verizon phone in the past(But this was an iPhone 4, which had so Sim card slot), and straight talk said it was not compatible, So my thinking is the only CDMA phones that Straight Talk excepts, our sprint phones..... After WEEKS of not getting my wife's texts from her IPhone, I changed my Galaxy S3's Sim card, have done powerdowns, soft and hard resets, I looked at my wife's Iphone - and did the following: On her IPhone: 1. I have a Galaxy S3 which I used in France for 5 months and didn't have any problem, but as soon as I switched to T-mobile in the US, I started not receiving any texts from iPhone users, unless they switch iMessage off
Otherwise there is always a RISK of the phone being blacklisted by the original owner, and there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to protect yourself except hope it never happens. Make sure they dont try to sell you a cdma iphone with a gevey adapter to unlock it cause that is not a factory unlocked iphone and if you ever update the iphone firmware the unlock will be gone for good and you will be stuck with a useless iphone
