Compatibility View and End Users When a web site says that it supports modern web standards, Internet Explorer 8 respects that and displays the site using its most standards compliant mechanism. A new UI button located in the navigation bar just to the right of the address bar (next to the refresh button) controls the Compatibility View feature and replaces the Emulate IE7 button from Beta 1
internet explorer 11 - How can I block a user agent string in IE11? - Super User

I don't know what exactly in your "User Agent String" triggers your websites to 'give' a mobile view (you didn't specify your UA) but playing with these values should fix it and these settings survive a restart of IE11 and the PC. (although Version won't be in send IE11 anymore and Pre and Post Platform won't be send in the header.) You could try setting the compatibility mode to see it Touch is still there

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/32372/htg-explains-why-do-so-many-geeks-hate-internet-explorer/
What Made It Go So Very Wrong? The trouble all started when Microsoft integrated IE into Windows as a required component, and made it difficult to uninstall and use an alternate browser. Now when I look at Browser Page Source Code, I'm completely lost ! ! Big difference between the early 2000s and now OR maybe I just didn't keep up after retirement

windows - How can I remove malicious spyware, malware, viruses or rootkits from my PC? - Super User
http://superuser.com/questions/100360/how-can-i-remove-malicious-spyware-malware-viruses-or-rootkits-from-my-pc
No amount of software or hardware will fully protect you from yourself and from your own actions which in most cases is how the malware gets into a system in the first place. (Since Windows 8, Microsoft Security Essentials is part of Windows Defender.) There are likely far better scanning engines out there, but Security Essentials will keep itself up to date, without ever risking an expired registration

internet explorer - How to disable Compatibility View in IE - Stack Overflow
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6348959/how-to-disable-compatibility-view-in-ie
What I found through usability studies most people do not release that they might be in compatibility mode(and have actually no knowledge of them setting it on) and when you tell them their browser is out of date and they think they are using IE 8(latest browser at the time of the study) they get confused very fast. If you're looking at your homepage which could be google.com, msn.com, about:blank or example.com, the Internet Control Panel has no way of knowing what the contents of your page may be, and it will not download it in the background
internet explorer - How do I turn off Compatibility View on the IE WebBrowserControl in a WinForms app? - Stack Overflow
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6717055/how-do-i-turn-off-compatibility-view-on-the-ie-webbrowsercontrol-in-a-winforms-a
How can I disable this, and make it behave the same as standalone IE does on my machine when browsing the same site? I do not want to make registry changes. I got into a nice loop where VS crashed upon loading my solution (because I had a control open, which had the Awesomium browser), so I just ripped it out in frustration
