In the end, he'll only give you FIVE septims and take the phial (we will then, interestingly enough, go lay down on his bed and when you interact with him it will only say he is asleep and dying). If you leave through that ladder, then follow the path on the walls around to a broken tower of the keep, there is a large chest with an enchanted item and high level (for me) spellbook

You can loot the three corpses after the fight and you should find that some of their armor will be better than yours (check the lower right corner), and you can use any of three weapons. Hopefully you got a taste of all three, but if you didn't try magic out you just need to know that if you don't know how magic will work in this game or in the last, you probably shouldn't go magic

He's completely irrelevant to any of the quests, including the one that takes you there, but just entering his front door makes this elderly Khajiit very happy. Presumably, Ma'Zaka senses the Dragonborn's ill intent) One for the devs themselves: Erik the Slayer was named for an Oblivion fan who died during the development of Skyrim

+1 That's a very interesting note about the Ebony Blade in the special move, do you believe that it may also work with the Longhammer due to the similar swing speed? Permalink Reply by NeroKitty on February 17, 2014 at 1:28am It works with every weapon that is affected by that perk. But the Grand Master can break away from the rank and file assassin, becoming a versatile warrior who wields life-absorbing dual blades at speed, or uses the Ebony Blade to unique and excellent effect as well

In Skyrim, how many followers can I have? And where do I get them? - Arqade

  http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/36714/in-skyrim-how-many-followers-can-i-have-and-where-do-i-get-them
There are 45 in total: 6 mercenaries: generally one per hold city 5 housecarls: one per Thane appointment in the cities where you can buy a house 7 members of the Companions 3 members of the College of Winterhold 2 members of the Dark Brotherhood 9 quest-related or dungeon-related followers 13 followers you can recruit if you've done them a favor In addition to a single follower, you can buy a wardog in Markarth Side for 500 gold, which acts as another member of your team. One acts as a "normal" follower, which in this case is my housecarl from Solitude, but the other which is Cicero is a regular follower with the strange exception of being one that ignores the fact that I already have one following me around

After assassination you must, of course, escape quickly, because all surrounding guards will run after you (escape details are discussed later in this quest description). Once you get to the destination, I suggest saving the game, so you can carefully plan your next steps and try different variants of completing the quest

Spoilers in black soo...highlight with caution Thalmor want to take over, the empire wants to fight the thalmor but need skyrims support, which, with King Tyorgg they had that support. After I defeat Alduin, I think I will side with the empire for the reasons below: 1) When I played Elder Scrolls IV, Cyrodiil was a cosmopolitan city with all races living in harmony mostly (except for Argonians who were just tolerated that too because of their nature) whereas in Skyrim, Ulfric is indifferent to the issues of Dark Elves, Argonians and pretty much everyone who is not a Nord

Doing so results in her kinda doing some weird shadow step attacking thing but eventually when you kill her she whispers, "well done".For the record I also killed the khajit since he was a rapist fuckhead.Once you kill Astrid you get a quest that says to talk to guard, which leads you to the questline to wipe out the rest of the brotherhood.Huh. When are you given the option to destroy them?SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. When you kill Astrid instead of the hostages.*slaps forehead* I never thought of doing that.
