may I ask do you play guitar? if so how can you downgrade eruption? can YOU personally play it up to speed(even though i was wrong, he is playing slow with delay to sound fast)? or have you even heard eruption before i posted it? nice try jackass... me personally, when i was younger, and i first heard eruption i was like "whoa, shit man, this is awesome! i have to learn how the hell to play that" man that's what most people say, including dime kurt and zakk wylde

When SRV played this song, clean and sober, you could feel the power and soul he put into it, and this above all else, is what makes want to become a great guitarist
Listen to SRV sing this song again and pay careful attention to the last few lines "Livin' our dream...." and "My mind stopped achin'..." and you will see this song in a clearer light... So what I'm saying is, even if you could get Boyle to talk about the song and give you all the details about what the song means to him, it's irrelevant
