The visitor center stop is 10 minutes AFTER it leaves 30th street and the train ride is shorter (but there is a longer walk - value of this will depend on your walking speed) From the regional rail trains you will have to walk to the main concourse area (down a ramp, only one way to go) and then find the west entrance. If my plane from Phoenix is on schedule I will have plenty of time to find the Megabus stop, but if it is delayed by more than five minutes or I am held up in baggage, the knock on delays mean I could be short of time by the time I reach 30th Street Station

I saw on a web site there is a subway-esque train service from the train station to the airport, however the SEPTA website was too cryptic for me to figure out times, fares, or even what the rail line was called so I can find it at 30th St station. One word of caution, while the ride from 30th to the Airport is less than 50 minutes, SEPTA doesn't believe that people might ever need to use the facilities on any of their regional trains

Is there a NJ transit train from 30th st station in Philly that goes to Newark airport? Or do I need to change somewhere along the way? Different websites were saying different things and I will be rushing from work to the airport so cant afford to do something stupid like get the wrong train end up stranded in the middle of New jersey! Thanks for any clarification! You actually have two options: 1) You can take SEPTA's R7 train from 30th Street to Trenton, at which point you would change to NJ Transit's Northeastern Corridor train which has a stop at Newark Airport.
