Where do Downloaded Files Go? - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

They could very easily allow you to chose the download location, put in the standard download folder, show a message about where downloaded files are stored, etc. But I cannot find the file on the phone, not in the program I opened it with, not in the Download folder, not anywhere that ES File Explorer can search

I'm going through the process manually using adb right now, at it seems to me that after flashing Eclipse the root.img I'm using isn't valid with Eclipse on 2.3.5. It is now a valuable resource for people who want to make the most of their mobile devices, from customizing the look and feel to adding new functionality

Within ADB, I started the sheel, then changed to su, then changed directory to each of the two directories Jim named, and removed each of the two su files. Worked flawlessly, took less than 5 minutes! Thanks! Mikejm70 i downloaded the droid3 easy root script to my macbook and when i went to open it, it said i did not have the application needed to open the file

If I pull out the physical sd card from the device, put it back in, hit connect to storage...the PC will recognize it for about a minute basically teasing me, letting me transfer a couple small files...and then unmounts itself and stops being read. i had put my SD card in another phone, that showed it on the computer as an drive that had no files but showed only 1.5 GB free out of the available 3.8GB
