I did like you said and re-installed everything onto the external but when I opened the game it let me know that all of my EPs except Seasons had been uninstalled and if I continued my families in college will be aged to adult and all other families will be moved to the family bin...So of course I exited but I spent ALL day installing all of the games and they are listed on in my ext. My experience is that when your computer starts running slow, you've probably just got too much stuff on it, so moving some of the stuff to the external could very well perk up the performance
I really hope there's a way to fix this, and once I get back all of those precious data I will buy another HD to transfer them ASAP because I cant let this happen to me again. General Discussion System Freezes When Copying Large Files Between DrivesI need help on how to move all my files from my internal harddrive to my external harddrive. Things I have tried: I have 4 hard disks in the machine, and I've tried various different combinations of which drive to copy from and which drive to copy to, just to see if that is the problem, so unless all 4 hard disks are broken, I don't think I can blame the drive
