Each faction has 8 campaigns, and to complete all 16 should take a competent gamer around 16-20 hours.Then there is online play, and Skirmish mode which adds to the longevity of the game.The soundtrack is simply stunning, and everything youve come to expect from LOTR films and games.The Graphics are pretty much the same as the PC version, in other words superb.All in all a must have for an RTS fan, one minor gripe, I know some of you old school gamers love the mouse, me too, and the Xbox 360 supports most USB mice, so why oh why doesnt anybody implement this in their games? They'll conquer the land using evil units as large as the Balrog and as small as the goblins, or protect Middle-earth with good units as large as the Tree Ents and as small as Frodo Baggins. It is difficult to judge relative terrain height and it is not always obvious what areas the units can walk through.The game does have a good variety of multiplayer features, which might keep players interested

To Joe Public (ie me!) I would have been happy not to have all the loose ends tied up in the way the book does it - the film should have ended on a high (with the King being crowned etc) but instead it seems to crawl to an end in a way that is not in line with the momentum of the film (if not the whole trilogy!) This problem is minor on the grand scheme of things, but I would rather have left the cinema on my high than be made to wonder `when's this ending? Is this the end now? Oh, maybe this is it now?' - but I do understand why it was done this way.The cast, as they have been all the way, are excellent. Meanwhile the rest of the Fellowship prepare for another battle to hold a human city against an onslaught of orcs.If you check my other reviews you will note that I wasn't a massive fan of the first two films - I loved them, but was not blind to their faults

What's even more insulting about this facet of the AI that EA stopped bragging about right after the game's release is that one army sitting at the bottom of a massive slope will fire up at another army at the top, who react is if they are out of range
