I didn't see that it was 3 miles north of the intersection.In my case it would just be a hypotenuse getting longer and longer but that's not the case, obviously, in the OP's post. He decides to walk in a straight line (cross-country) toward a position 3 miles due North of the intersection; it takes Cameron one hour to reach that location
