Plucky Girl Proper Lady The Protagonist: Although Peter's the title character, it really is Wendy's story, and she's by far the most developed character of the bunch. Played true to the book in the 2003 live action version, where they kept it on the actor's right hand to allow him precise control over it, such as when he uses the tip to settle Smee's glasses on his nose

I know, I know, I still need to get the cast names in there and I'll be eternally tweaking it, so if you have any corrections, feel free to drop me a line. I can explain! No! I have been humiliated! No! I must become a man that children fear and adults respect, or we shall all end up in the street! - George, not so loud

These sequences are structured with a real sense of rhythm and comic timing, so that even at their most cartoonish (running on water), they depict real emotions and really enjoyable peril. While it has much in the way of magic and wonder in and of itself, its differences and distance from the source material prevent it from being the definitive take on J

People are who they are, whether it means they become responsible adults or remain forever child-like and that it is possible for them to respect and love each other, despite their differences. (Also, he's apparently extremely young - in the prequel to Peter Pan, he's only eight days old, which is kind of a continuation issue because he's supposed to not be able to age

A crewman then informs everyone that they just heard no splash, which seems to annoy Captain Hook; he makes one himself by throwing said crewman overboard. Exact Words: Captain Hook swears to Tinker Bell "not to lay a finger, or a hook, on Peter Pan." Hook still wants to kill him, of course, so upon learning of his hiding place, he uses a bomb instead

GEORGE DARLING: "Poor Nana"? This is the last straw! Out! Out, I say! MICHAEL: No, Father, no! GEORGE DARLING: Yes! There'll be no more dogs for nursemaids in this house! MICHAEL: Goodbye, Nana. WENDY: Oh, Nana, must we always take that nasty tonic? NARRATOR: Nana, the nursemaid, being a dog kept her opinions to herself and viewed the whole affair with a certain tolerance

the BOOK, WHICH IS BETTER?? I just wanted to get peoples opinion on what they thought was better, the book or the movies (Hook, Disney's version or the recent 2003 version). I am currently translating Spanish fairy tales into English, and have come across the phrase 'it's not certain that fairies don't exist.' I have a feeling that the line appears somewhere in Peter Pan! Am I correct? If so, does anyone happen to know which Chapter?! Thank you lots for all your help

My guess is, Peter became more frustrated bcos he couldn't find Henry and in result, Peter did turn evil bcos he wanted to leave, he wanted to grow up, he wanted to live a normal life, but he couldn't.. And I agree, it does make it seem like Hook is kinda like an anti-hero especially now that we're getting more backstory about Bae and his time in Neverland

I remember a friend telling me that the reason Michael Jackson insisted on naming his ranch Neverland was because he was trying to imitate Peter Pan, and that this was also the reason he got his nose to look the way it did, he bleached his skin, constantly surrounded himself with children, and why he believed he was a "child at heart".. i WANT ALWAYS TO BE A LITTLE BOY AND TO HAVE FUN." See all 15 photos "Of all the delectable islands the Neverland is the snuggest and most compact, not large and sprawly, you know, with tedious distances between one adventure and another, but nicely crammed

It's dark, funny, SEXY, intelligent, and a bit scary; just like the original novel. In her film debut as Wendy, I thought Rachel Hurd-Wood was nothing short of brilliant. I've been a fan of his since his first film!! Frailty was obviously a different kind of movie, and Jeremy was good in that, but, he just IS Peter Pan!! I'm not ashamed to admit I have a crush on this boy

(Donations from music sales are explained more fully on the music page.) Charitable organizations receiving donations include (but are not limited to) the 'Make a Wish' foundation, Save The Children, and Christian Children's Fund, and Metropolitan Ministries. Many would be very suitable for a ballet performance, ALL are unconditionally VERY silly!! And speaking of 'silly', I know all this makes me a very silly boy! But If it sounds like a fun thing or even if you'd just like a good laugh (I laugh at myself all the time!) you must check out my Peter Pan's Fashion Page! for a close up look at some of my concoctions
