I also think that removing Alfred and therefore much of the humanity and humour from the equation was a mistake and I would have liked a little more ambiguity (a la Inception) as to the fate of the character. Plus I could also point out that the story is basically Rocky III crossed with Star Wars with yet another generic race against time tacked onto the end

Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) is a service Amazon offers sellers that lets them store their products in Amazon's warehouses, and Amazon directly does the picking, packing, shipping and customer service on these items. Both films are so loaded with ideas, so complex in the painstakingly loving creation of an alternative universe, that on first viewing it's easy to become overwhelmed and fail to absorb a large chunk of it all

The Dark Knight Rises will reunite Nolan with many of his past collaborators, including Cinematographer Wally Pfister, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Lee Smith, costume designer Lindy Hemming, special effects supervisors Paul Franklin and Chris Corbould, and composer Hans Zimmer. It was not until February 9, 2010 that it was announced that Nolan had "cracked" the story of a sequel to The Dark Knight and was committed to return to the project

The 2 hours and 44 minutes running time didn't feel long at all, the story flows seamlessly as it comes full circle with flashbacks from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, it's all beautifully balanced between the intimate moments of character development that's unusual in a summer blockbuster film and the really elaborate and simply put awesome all-out war action sequences and the choreography of the brawls between Batman and Bane is much improved than the previous films

There are inconsistencies with the love story and the villains purpose in teh story, nonetheless Christopher Nolan as director saves the Batman franchise by making it very moving. The Dark KnightThe definitive Batman film with incredible direction, story and acting. This surpasses Batman Begins with the best portrayal of the Joker as the villain o the film played wonderfully by Heath Ledger which sadly had passed before the film's release

I believe movies are one of the great American art forms and the shared experience of watching a story unfold on screen is an important and joyful pastime. The movie theatre is my home, and the idea that someone would violate that innocent and hopeful place in such an unbearably savage way is devastating to me

Nolan is especially good at capturing the complete tension of actually not knowing what will happen and deeply questioning what you *want* to happen and why. This movie is bigger than the previous two, far more ambitious. Not because of the physicality of them, but because he was such a huge Batman fan growing up that he said "it felt like I was beating up my childhood hero"

A commentary or more sprawling production documentary would have been a terrific addition to it all, but Nolan and company have covered their bases and delivered an extensive glimpse into Nolan's craft, the development of the film and the intricacies of the third and final entry in the Dark Knight cycle. And the momentum and inventiveness I craved were out in full force, albeit so radical in comicbook nature that I nearly failed to notice the intricacies of Nolan's master plan
