The issue this modifier was meant to address was the way spell-casters have always had less dependence upon items; Necromancers and especially Sorceresses were the best characters at Magic Finding in Diablo 2 since they didn't need a big damage weapon, and could use weapons that boosted MF, resistance, hit points, and other survival stats while that was never an option for the combat classes. There are numerous useful affixes that only appear as legendary affixes, and others (such as reduced damage from Elites) that only appear on legendary items or as set bonuses

Is this a bug or something? I saw the Amulet available for sale from Belethor in Whiterun once, though at the time I didn't know the significance of it so I didn't buy it and am unable to confirm if it has the marriage ability on it. I have noted that the first chest in the Barrow near the bandit camp seems to have a higher chance to contain one of the Amulets of the Divines but it is not a guaranteed location

If a randomly spawning Amulet and the one acquired from The Book of Love, are equipped, the inventory shows that both are being worn, instead of splitting the category into two. Solution: if The amulet received from "The Book of Love" and a marriage offer is not given, drop the amulet and retrieve it, or buy a new one from Maramal
