if you try to rattle can the whole car then it will look like crap, but if you are using the gallons, and have one of the good sprayers that work best with plasti dip, the finish turns out perfect if you do it all right. Finally got around to it yesterday, this is my first time spraying a whole car with anything, but DYC's videos made it pretty easy to get started lol (thanks Fonzie!)

just spray a thick layer over the dip and leave for a few mins then spray another coat and leave again for a few mins then jet wash off starting from the edges with a powerful jet wash as cheap ones don't really work and it will start to strip off but doesn't dissolve the dip so you have no mess and panel wipe is harmless to your car

I did this myself and it came out pretty good although the next time I dip my rims I will take them off the car, it is easier to work with and it will provide a better finish. Based on feedback we have received some customers are using cue cards or playing cards around the rim to mask off the tire before they spray their rims as well

Yes, with enough elbow grease in scrubbing the sprayed WILL pull apart, but that's more than everyday wear and tear on a car door will ever apply.One car door done, definitely ordering more for the rest!
