Upgrade versions of Windows 7 are far more common than Full versions, both because they are less expensive and because Microsoft offered (and in some cases is still offering) exceptionally cheap pricing on Upgrade media. For Method 3, the double install, Windows does not accept my original disk for the upgrade, a message pops up saying that my installed version is newer than the one in the disk and stops the upgrade (I have left Win update complete all the updates without interruption)

Instead of a "Recent documents" list filled with Word documents when you want the last Excel document you looked at, the start menu shows the Recent Documents list for each application in an obvious way.
